We were in a strange neighborhood, hungry and looking for a "find" a couple of small non-open cafe with excellent food and an environment to meet the restaurant. After unsuccessfully looking for a restaurant several miles from the shopping center, my wife and I reluctantly settled for a course on a local basis in a new place for us. Could it be that special find, but we knew it would be for the number of vehicles out tasty. We were too hungry to be extended shoppingtwo grandchildren on the road again (at intervals of three weeks in the spring) in search of "food well done" to expand. So we went and found our way inside.

Make this Old Fashion Apricot Salad Surprise for many occasions

The next time for something else in the church social, held in Essen, or just to serve your family, back in the past and try to locate these Surprise apricot salad recipe from my vintage collection. This serves gelatin salad is delicious, and looks very nice. This is a good combination of all standards. This salad apricot jelly with banana and pineapple in gelatin layer. The coating adds pineapple juice, eggs, cheese, etc. As you can see,This recipe calls for a lot of different components in a salad.
APRICOT SURPRISE SALAD
This recipe comes from an old cookbook of the community.
2 pkgs (3 g each) apricot jelly
2 cups boiling water
2 cups cold water
2 bananas, sliced
1 (# 2) can crushed pineapple, well drained
1 cup miniature marshmallows
Add the gelatine added to hot water and stir to dissolve gelatin. Add the marshmallows into the hot gelatin mixture and stir until the marshmallowsresolved. Add cold water, bananas, pineapple and crushed. Mix well. Pour into a 9 x 13 inch dish and refrigerate up to the set.
Finish:
1 / 2 cup sugar
1 cup pineapple juice
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons flour
3 oz cream cheese
2 tablespoons butter
Dessert Topping Mix 1 envelope
