How to make an authentic Greek salad

The Greek salad is the quintessential greek lunch we sat in the sun checkered covered tables overlooking the turquoise waters of the warm Mediterranean sea. And remember the senses: pleasant memories of warm sunshine, fresh herbs, tasty tomatoes and waitresses naughty but nice.

Greek food is known for its simplicity and authentic Greek salad is no exception. It 'easy to prepare, with simple fresh ingredients. But how to recreate the authenticGreek salad when you go home? It's worth it, because this simple dish is tasty, healthy and awakened memories of seaside holidays. But it is important to do well.

To be as authentic as possible, it is important to try to make the tastiest freshest ingredients, as well as the Greeks. The problem, many of the ingredients we have available is forced to mature, and often cultivated inorganic. The ingredients I use are often collected that day from their farms, organically grown and cared for by nature.

1-2 big soft red tomatoes
A big rectangular slab of Feta Cheese
Extra Virgin olive oil
Oregano
Salt and Pepper
Lemon juice (if desired)
