Fruit salad with balsamic vinegar - fresh fruit, cheddar cheese, easy, tasty and healthy

This is wonderful to make a salad that I have at least two or three times a week. It consists of all fresh fruit except mandarins. Ingredients for the classic seven layer salad recipe:

1 head iceberg lettuce
1 cup frozen peas (thawed)
1 red onion (chopped)
3 eggs (hard boiled)
1 1 / 2 cups Cheddar cheese (shredded)
2 cups tomatoes (chopped)
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons salt

Caesar Salad Southwest Style

Jalapeno Croutons

2 tablespoons jalapenos, seeded and diced. If fresh jalapenos are not available, try canned and used for a more delicate flavor substitute canned green chilies.

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon salt

2 ¾ cups milk

1 ½ cup corn flour

Toss the cooled cube in ½ cup of cornmeal.
