Perfect for summer salads! Green and red tomato salad and pasta salad with ham

As the old saying goes, "Summertime, and livin 'is easy." One of the simple things about summer is a good salad recipe. On hot days, when appetites decline when items will require a simple picnic, or just do not want to heat the house salad is often the perfect solution. GREEN AND RED tomato salad
1 / 2 cup olive oil
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 / 2 teaspoon ground cumin
1 / 8 teaspoon black pepper
3 medium tomatoes, diced
3 medium green tomatoes, diced
1 medium red onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
1 tablespoon dried basil
In abowl or jar with a lid, combine oil, vinegar, lemon juice, garlic, cumin and pepper and mix well. Refrigerator. In a large shallow bowl, combine the onions, tomatoes and basil. Thirty minutes before serving, the sauce and stir.

Pasta salad with HAM
4 cups cooked macaroni spirals, chilled
1 / 2 cup cider vinegar
1 / 2 cup of extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon granular Splenda

1 / 2 teaspoon freshlyground black pepper
2 cups lean ham julienne
1 1 / 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
1 cup thinly sliced carrots
1 red pepper Med bell, cut into strips

Combine the vinegar with the olive oil, Splenda, salt and pepper in a jar with a lid sealed. Shake vigorously to mix. In a large bowl, combine the macaroni with broccoli, carrots, peppers and ham. Also add the dressing and toss to coat. Cover the bowl with fresh, cold, and tastesMixture.
